Joanna Ward brings over 25 years of experience in pharmaceutical R&D, primarily in cancer drug development, with over 8 years as a dedicated consultant in the field. She served as the V.P. of commercial manufacturing at Immunomedics, Inc. (now Gilead Sciences), developing and managing the commercial supply supporting the global commercialization of the company’s first product Trodelvy(Antibody drug conjugate). Previously, Joanna Ward worked at Juno Therapeutics (now BMS) as V.P. Contract Manufacturing developing and managing the clinical and commercial supply chain for Breyanzi(CAR-T cell therapy) and at Seattle Genetics as VP manufacturing, establishing and managing the clinical and commercial supply for Adcetris (Antibody drug conjugate) as well as supply for a multiple early clinical phase products. Other areas of manufacturing experience and strategy in small start-up companies include Cell and Gene Therapy technologies along with diverse products such as topicals and mucosal patches.  Joanna holds a BSc in Plant biology from the University of Hull in the UK.
